About 7th Pay Commission Salary Calculator

The 7th Pay Commission was implemented from January 1, 2016, for all Central Government employees. This calculator helps you understand your salary structure including Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance (TA).

Pay Levels Explained

Level 1-5: Group C posts (MTS, Clerk, LDC, UDC)
Level 6-8: Group B posts (Section Officer, Assistant)
Level 9-12: Group A posts (Deputy Director, Director)
Level 13-18: Senior positions (Joint Secretary and above)

Current DA Rate

The current Dearness Allowance rate is 53% (as of January 2025). DA is revised twice a year (January and July) based on AICPI index.
